Located on the 7th floor of Allied Music Centre, the Deane Cameron Recording Studio is purpose-built to support artistic development at every stage. This acoustically treated space serves as a dynamic classroom for hands-on music education, a rehearsal venue for artists preparing to take the stage at Massey Hall, and a fully equipped professional studio for recording original work.
With sweeping views of the city skyline and a full suite of creative resources, the Studio offers an inspiring environment where creators can focus, experiment, and refine their craft.

Remembering Deane Cameron
On May 16, 2019, we lost a true champion of Canadian music. Deane Cameron’s remarkable career began at EMI Music Canada in 1972 and led him to become President in 1988, shaping the nation’s music landscape for decades.
In 2015, Deane took on the role of President & CEO of Massey Hall and Roy Thomson Hall, driving the most significant revitalization in Massey Hall’s history.
His legacy lives on in the Deane Cameron Recording Studio, located atop the Allied Music Centre beside Massey Hall—a vibrant space for music creation, education, and performance. This studio and the centre stand as enduring tributes to Deane’s passion, vision, and lasting impact on Canadian culture.

4x JUNO nominated singer-songwriter and 2025 Allied Music Centre Artist in Residence, Julian Taylor and his band released a live LP recorded in TD Music Hall, with all tracks mastered in Dolby Atmos. in the Deane Cameron Recording Studio.
